On being elected to Westminster, one of Susan's first acts was to write a NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde about the urgent need for a new Health and Care Centre for Milngavie and Bearsden.

She also called on the Chancellor to ensure that our community receives this much-needed new facility that provide essential services to individuals and families across the constituency.

My constituents have been waiting many years for a new Health and Care Centre to serve the people of Bearsden and Milngavie. You will be aware there is a severe lack of facilities which are accessible and provide modern accommodation for both GPs and community allied health professionals as well as a base for the many professionals so vital to support care and wellbeing in our communities; helping to reduce the cost of the NHS and provide a focus for prevention. I understand that capital funding is limited but I would ask that you consider the dramatic change in voting patterns in Mid Dunbartonshire driven in part by the belief that they have been waiting too long for facilities like the health and care centre.
