Susan Murray Comments On Recent Developments In Ukraine

Commenting on recent developments in Ukraine, Mid Dunbartonshire MP Susan Murray said: 

"By preventing the United Kingdom from sharing intelligence with Ukraine and suspending aid, Donald Trump has behaved in a callous and short-sighted way that will only embolden Putin's barbaric war machine. The remarks made by his Vice President are also deeply offensive to the British soldiers who fought and died, shoulder to shoulder, with our American allies in Iraq and Afghanistan and our Ambassador, Lord Mandelson, should call for an urgent apology. It is now clearer than ever that Europe has a key role to play in ensuring Ukrainian and global security and I urge the UK Government to continue working closely with President Zelensky and our EU partners to achieve this."
