We had Scottish Liberal Democrat leader, Alex Cole-Hamilton in Bishopbriggs to launch our General Election campaign. This is the report that was taken and presented on the BBC. With only 149 votes in it last time is East Dunbartonshire, this election is going to be one where every vote matters.
The contest to be our next local MP will be very close. At the last election in East Dunbartonshire there were only 149 votes between the SNP and the Liberal Democrats. This time the new Mid Dunbartonshire contest will be just as close.
In this election in Mid Dunbartonshire it's a straight choice between the Liberal Democrats and the SNP. No other result is possible. The Conservatives and Labour candidates trailed in third and fourth places last time.
With polling day on the first week of the school holidays many will have booked holidays away. You can still vote if you sign up for a postal vote.
