Susan Murray addresses Broadband Connectivity in East Dunbartonshire

According to Openreach, around 8,000 homes and businesses in Bishopbriggs can now upgrade to ultrafast broadband thanks to the work of their engineers.
This is welcome news and means that families and firms in the town now have the option to enjoy these speeds that will help them do business, study, shop, and everything else that increasingly requires a good internet connection to do fully.
However, there are still areas in Mid Dunbartonshire that are considered internet ‘black spots’ where connections are poor and slow, as my constituents regularly highlight.
Financial support should be made available to people living in these neighborhoods as soon as possible so that they can fully participate in online life and are not left behind.
