A local update from your Liberal Democrat MP for Mid Dunbartonshire, Susan Murray. Susan has been joining the Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC to open the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex and welcome the club to its new home. Also intervening on an education debate in the House of Commons.

KIRKINTILLOCH ROB ROY FC OPENING

I was proud to join the players, staff, and supporters of Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC to open the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex and welcome the club to its new home.

EDUCATION INTERVENTION

I intervened in a debate on education in the House of Commons. It was important to speak up for parents and families in East Dunbartonshire who value choice in education.

I believe in the freedom for families to make choices about their children's education and will fight for a fair deal and choice for every child in East Dunbartonshire.

NEW HEALTH AND CARE CENTRE CAMPAIGN

Milngavie and Bearsden need a new health and care centre, and cuts to capital funding must not put it at risk.

This week, I called on the Chancellor to ensure that our community receives this much-needed new facility that provide essential services to individuals and families across the constituency.
