Marthos is an active community campaigner for Kirkintilloch East and North and Twechar.
Marthos Christoforou is our candidate for the by-election on 13th February 2025. A community champion who will be a stand up for local schools, road safety, and oppose the SNP and Labour cuts to local services.
SNP and Labour decided to remove some vacant school crossing patroller posts and review all the others. Also a few other quick updates for Kirkintilloch East & North and Twechar.
The replacement for Lenzie Academy has been delayed along with 4 other school projects across East Dunbartonshire.
Before the end of the previous council, when the Lib Dems were in joint administration, the council agreed to start the process of reinstating the lights at the Catherine Street junction.
